Yumi wast the best guide that I have met. She designed the tour special for us with the places we wanted to visit. She met us at our hotel and spend with us a wonderful day with perfect knowlege and explanations of the places. She heplped us to buy the train tickets to Kyoto and went with us to our next hotel. She was patient, kind and helpful. We are very thankful and we strongly recomend her if you need a guide in Tokyo.
Hi, Beatriz san, did you enjoy traveling around Japan? Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I was impressed by your very organized and meaningful planning. I wish I could have shown you around a lot more, but it was a pity that our time was so short. You are a very nice couple, interpreting for your husband, and I am sure you will make a wonderful family. Please come back to Japan again in the future. I wish you many years of happiness Yumi

One of my best experiences visiting a foreign country. An excellent guide who I can recommend. Thank you very much.
Thank you for the review. Today we walked a lot, but I am happy to know you enjoyed today’s tour. We saw a ritual to thank God at Meiji Shrine. It is held only twice a month. It was a very valuable experience. We enjoyed sushi at Tsukiji and a boat cruise on Sumida River. Please contact me again when you visit Japan next time. I look forward to seeing you again in the future. Hiroshi

Tomoko was absolutely *Amazing*!! From the initial contact, she was very responsive and provided excellent suggestions that met and far exceeded the needs of our family of four with kid ages 13 & 11. She put together an itinerary from start to finish that was fun and engaging. We had a blast wandering through the fresh fish market, stopping for sashimi snacks, ice cream, and shopping for beautiful pieces of Japanese nicknacks. We all enjoyed a stop at the hedgehog cafe, Harajuku district, and wandering through the most quaint side streets. We ventured to Shibuya and checked out the crazy crossing and even had sunset reservations all the way up at the Shibuya Sky! Incredible!!! Tomoko is very knowledgeable and explained all the local sites and even navigated the train system! She is so personable and instantly became a part of our family! We loved our time with her and will absolutely have her take us (and anyone we know) around the next time we are in Tokyo. Xo, Kellie & Family
Thanks for taking the time to write a very nice review, Kellie! I enjoyed the day with you and your family a lot, too. I can tell the jolly, happy feeling from the pictures. I was impressed that you were so helpful in the pre-arrangement process by booking me first to hold the date and then letting me know the interests of your family members so that we could plan accordingly. I was also amazed at how you decided on the locations listening to the preferences of your children, stood by on the day and time of the reservation releasing time for ‘Kawaii Café’ and ‘Shibuya Sky’ online and made sure to get the tickets you needed. I’m proud of your determination and efforts, Kellie:) Thank you again for letting me join your family adventure. I really look forward to seeing your family again in the future, Kellie, Joshua, Gavin, and Allison.

Derek's Akihabara tour was a fascinating walk through the vibrant otaku world of of Akihabara. He's not only a charismatic person, but also an idol industry worker and anime lover, so his firsthand insights added a layer of authenticity that enriched the experience. We had time to navigate through the streets and various shops of Akihabara and found some shops that otherwise I'd have a hard time finding on my own. Due to that, I was able to return on a later date and do all my shopping quickly and quite efficiently. He took me to a maid cafe, a place where I don't I'd ever go in my own, and it was actually quite an unique experience as the maids are very polite and really seem to put their heart into their jobs. Also, even if I am not an idol/maid fan, I enjoyed seeing the maids performing the live music and how the other regular costumers in the cafe loved and supported them. In retrospect and now that I am back home, I kind of regret not taking up on his offer of going to an idol show after the tour, maybe next time. His tour schedule is also highly customizable, and Derek was able to accommodate my wish of visiting a couple of retro-gaming stores. He even took a short detour to help me find some medicine I was looking for in the drugstore. All in all, I recommend his tour to anyone who wants to get their feet wet in Akihabara. Moreover, if you are into maid and idol culture, I don't think you would find a better guide.
