“The Highlight of our Tokyo trip!”

This review is long overdue, but our day with Yukiko-san was such a special part of our trip that I couldn't let any more time pass without sharing our experience. Japan had been at the top of our family's bucket list for years, and somehow Yukiko-san exceeded all our expectations. My husband, our 20-year-old son, our 12-year-old daughter, and I spent 7½ hours exploring Tokyo with her, and by the end of the day, she felt less like our guide and more like a family friend showing us her city. Before our trip, Yukiko-san took the time to learn about our interests and helped create the perfect itinerary. She was warm, patient, funny, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. She knew Tokyo like the back of her hand and shared fascinating history and cultural details everywhere we went. She even wore a beautiful kimono! She connected wonderfully with both of our kids despite their age difference. She knew so much about anime, which they loved, taught us Japanese and origami, explained Japanese culture and food, and even prepared information on her tablet and a keepsake from our tour. My favorite experience was the tea ceremony in Asakusa. It was beautiful, but Yukiko-san's explanation of the history and meaning behind it made it truly unforgettable. She also taught us how to navigate Tokyo's public transportation and gave us tips that helped throughout the rest of our trip. Yukiko-san didn't just show us Tokyo, she helped us understand and appreciate it. Months later, our family still talks about our day with her. Booking this tour was one of the best decisions we made in Japan. I cannot recommend Yukiko-san highly enough! Yukiko-san, I'm sorry this took me so long to write. Thank you for making our first trip to Japan even more special than we imagined!

“An Amazing Day!”

Kaneo was an amazing guide. He was a wealth of information - from the city, to the flora, and to the history. He also listened to what our preferences were and he was quite accomondating. We actually recommended him to people we met during our week in Japan. We highly recommend him!

“Tokyo Highlights ”

Melody was absolutely amazing and made our day in Tokyo one of the highlights of our trip. We were a group of seven, including two kids, and we walked over 25,000 steps exploring the city. Despite the long day, Melody never lost his energy or enthusiasm. He truly went above and beyond for our group and even stayed past our scheduled nine-hour tour to make sure we had the experience we wanted. He was knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our day special. I can’t recommend Melody highly enough. If you’re coming to Tokyo and looking for a tour guide, I would strongly recommend booking with Melody. We would absolutely choose him again on our next trip to Tokyo!

Basra, thank you so much for spending the day with me despite your busy schedule! Our itinerary included Senso-ji Temple, Kaneiji Temple, the Saigo Takamori Statue, the Moon Pine, Shinobazu Pond, Ueno Toshogu Shrine, best ramen for lunch, a Pokémon card specialty store, anime shops in Akihabara, Tokyo Station, Onitsuka Tiger, trains from KITTE, the Imperial Palace, Omotesando, Takeshita Street, the Hachiko Statue, Shibuya Scramble Crossing, and LOFT. We basically packed two days’ worth of sightseeing into just one day! Your kids had incredible energy, and I had such a fun time exploring Tokyo with all of you.
