Tokyo Private Tours

“Wonderful tour guide!”

Toru allowed us to customize our tour, and we packed a lot into eight hours! Without him, we would have never mastered the trains well enough to see so much in one day. We had tickets to see a Swallows baseball game (which I highly recommend!), and Toru walked us to the ballpark and gave us directions to get back to our hotel using the train. (Toru - if you are reading this, we did not get lost!). His English was easy to understand, he took great photos, and he provided just the right amount of information we needed to understand the background of the sites we saw in Tokyo.

“Fantastic Bar Tour”

We had a great time on the bar hopping tour with Shushaku. He showed us some fantastic places where we got to try many different types of foods/drinks, and he explained everything in detail answering every question we had. We had some specific requests about places we wanted to go and Shushaku was happy to help. Not only did he do a fantastic job as a tour guide but he also took loads of great pictures along the way for no extra charge. Genuinely a really nice guy, who made us laugh and the perfect drinking buddy.

“Amazing Tour”

Keiko took us to several stops with beautiful views of Mt Fuji- it was a worthwhile trip out of Tokyo and very scenic area with many points of interest. Keiko is phenomenal and such a lovely person, and an organized and capable guide. She met us at the train station and shepherded us throughout the day- ensuring we had a great experience as a family. Everything was planned to the minute so we were able to catch the right trains and buses, but nothing felt rushed and we had time to spend at each area we visited. The garden and boat ride on the lake were especially nice stops. We were extremely lucky that Mt Fuji was so clear at each location, but most importantly that we had Keiko to guide us! We thoroughly enjoyed our day with her.

Anne Marie, thank you very much for your kind review. I also truly enjoyed showing you around and sharing the beauty of Japan with you. The Lake Kawaguchi area, in particular, is one of my top recommendations for anyone visiting Japan. With the rainy season approaching, the weather was overcast yesterday. Nevertheless, we were incredibly lucky to have a clear view of Mt. Fuji all day from every spot we visited—it’s quite rare! I'm so glad to hear that you fully enjoyed the tour.
