Andreea was great! Super knowledgeable and took us to all of the places you read about in your favorite Regency romance novel. Very educational and fun! We got in about 14000 steps during the tour. She was super prepared. Great tour if you have an interest in that time period.

Special thanks to John, who once again provided me with a two-hour private tour of the Summer Palace—it was a fantastic experience. This wasn’t my first time touring with him, and he continued to impress us this time around. Given my limited time, he managed the pace of the tour perfectly, avoiding the most crowded spots while still covering all the major highlights. His commentary was natural and fluid, never sounding like he was reading from a script—he shared many little-known historical anecdotes and interesting local stories, bringing this ancient palace complex to life. I especially appreciated his keen ability to understand my needs, his patience in answering all questions, and even the photography tips he shared along the way. Everything went very smoothly from start to finish. Although the tour was only two hours long, I gained far more than we expected. It was absolutely a perfect experience, and I’ll definitely book John’s tour again the next time I visit Beijing. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a guide who is both easygoing and knowledgeable.
