“A wonderful day with a calm and generous spirit”

My two teenage daughters and I spent a wonderful day with Rika. Her love of her City is plain but she also very generously welcomed us into her home on the island of Ninoshima. We had a very relaxed and enjoyable morning with a variety of creative and cultural activities - calligraphy, onigiri making and paper crane folding. The onigiri were delicious and fun and easy to make, something I hope we can bring home with us. Rika was patient and thoughtful in her explanations of Japanese culture and Hiroshima's history.
