“Best Guide I have ever had ”

Absolutely one of the greatest guided experiences I have had. Tim is extremely knowledgeable, social and relatable. He was able to interact with our entire group and bring small points to life throughout the evening. We had some amazing food and drink in smaller places that we would never have found or engaged with. He was able to walk us around the neighborhoods and really explain the culture. I can’t imagine we would have ever learned the things that he shared - without having him as our guide. ** He is also an excellent Karaoke singer. ‍

“What a wonderful day with Akari-san!”

Our family of 4 adults, two young ladies and their parents, had a wonderful day with Akari-san in Kyoto. She was very accommodating to our ideas, fluent in English and very knowledgable about Japan`s and Kyoto`s history and culture. She has lived outside of Japan and can so easily relate to other cultures, languages and thinking patterns. She manoeuvred us effortlessly and knowledgeable through the city to the recommended and selected attractions of Kyoto and picked a very typical lunch place with great noodle dishes and in particular with respect to our two vegetarian young ladies. But foremost and most of all she was a great host because she is a genuinely nice person that you love from the very beginning and who does convey the spirit of her country and city with a convincing passion. We would definitely select just her and not any other guide if we were to come back.

Susan K was fantastic. We had to adjust our schedule due to my wife being ill and my difficulty walking long distances. He knowledge of everything Istanbul was remarkable. I wanted to deviate,from our schedule to visit the eastern orthodox patriarchate. No problem. Susan was extremely knowledgeable about the Patriarchate and provided me with a greater appreciation of the church. I had to shorten our six hour tour to four but felt I accomplished a lot.
