We wanted a private guide for Sakkara and the old Cairo Museum, and we hit the jackpot with Maryem! Some guides recite from a script, but Maryem speaks fluently from deep knowledge and interest in her country's past and present. Talk to her, you will enjoy the conversation and her personality. Although we chose to skip the Coptic Museum due to time constraints, during the car ride Maryem gave us an amazing overview of what makes Coptic art so special. Finally, when we worked on customizing our tour with her, we didn't want to waste time on lunch... but the lunch Maryem built into our tour was the best meal we had in Egypt! Thank you Maryem H for a memorable day!

“Amazing Cappadocia with an amazing guide”

We did not know what to expect from Cappadocia. There is so much to see & do that we summed up a couple of must sees and requested a program for two days. Oguzhan has organized two perfect days with a fantastic combination of history & nature. He knows a lot about the area, about the history & the nature, about the people and he is fun & relaxed. We have seen amazing landmarks and we have met genuinely nice people. He took us to and recommended very nice & good restaurants which made our experience going beyond the expectations. Oguzhan made us fall in love with Cappadocia and we will for sure return someday. What a great experience! Thank you, Oguzhan.

“Tokomo was wonderful”

Tomoko was a fabulous introduction to Tokyo and how to get around in this big complicated city. She met me at my hotel and we traveled by train to the Imperial Garden in the morning and then in the afternoon she introduced me to Sumo! Sumo was totally new to me and I had wanted to learn more. She arranged tickets to see an afternoon of matches leading to a national championship. She knows all about Sumo and the matches were a perfect introduction to this lesser known aspect of Japanese culture. I should have had more days with her.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review while travelling, David.　I love sumo as you noticed, and I go to even Osaka and Nagoya when I get tickets; although this time I ended up involving you for nearly the half of the day’s tour, I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you very much for sending me so many photographs of ukiyo-e depicting sumo. I was also delighted that you visited the Tokyo National Museum the following day and were able to rediscover and gain a deeper understanding of the traditions and joys of sumo. Tomorrow is the tournament's final day. Well, I wonder which of the two wrestlers with three losses will win the title. I'm planning to cheer them on on the telly.
