“Best tour in Kyoto we could have wished for!”

We were a group of four (my husband, my father, my step-mom and I) and had just arrived in Japan for our 3 week trip. It was our first day in Kyoto and we wanted to have a tour to get a good feeling of what the city has to offer. We asked Robert to focus on cultural and culinary musst-Sees. And what can I say: we got it! We had a lovely day with great insights into the city and it‘s rich and colourful sights. Since we are not the type of group who runs from one spot to another we matched perfectly with Robert who adjusted to us and our needs - have a break here, eat some new and unknown things there and maybe also just have a rest and enjoy the nature that surrounds us. So if you are looking for a guide who attends to your needs as a group and adjusts to it easily - go with Robert. We would recommend having a tour with him anytime, no doubts!

“A Wonderful Day with Kahoko ”

In planning our trip to Japan I had good communication to plan our several days of touring with Kahoko-san to ensure that we would have a variety of experiences in Tokyo during our time there. We love to see local markets so Kahoko took us through the Tsukiji fish market - fascinating to see and we even tried grilled eel. Based on our interest, we had requested to visit the Sengakujii Temple where the 47 Ronin are buried, as well as taking a river cruise to Asakusa, instead of the subway. Kahoko readily arranged all this, took us for a tasty lunch and on to Sensoji temple and through various shopping streets. She guided us around so easily that it felt almost effortless, making for a very delightful day. Kahoko was so warm and friendly, making sure we were comfortable with the walking, and she was just a pleasure to spend time with. We are looking forward to our next touring days with her.
