Our day in Kyoto with Michiko was simply outstanding. We arrived from Osaka Airport Hotel in the morning a bit tired from our travels, and Michiko managed to perfectly balance our need for a relaxed pace with our desire to see the iconic sights like the Golden Pavilion and Fushimi Inari. She is incredibly structured, professional, and organized, yet her greatest strength is her empathy. She took wonderful care of us, always mindful of our energy levels. A special highlight was the vegetarian lunch she arranged. Because of my wife’s allergies, we are often cautious, but Michiko found a place where the food was spectacular and the team was perfectly prepared. It was one of our best meals in Japan! “An Unforgettable, Authentic Escape in Shimizu!”

If you are looking for a day that feels less like a "tour" and more like visiting a dear friend, Sayori is the perfect guide. Since she is married to a Canadian, her English is flawless, making communication effortless and deep. Our main goal was to escape the crowds, and Sayori delivered perfection. One of the highlightswas the Tea Farm. As a dedicated coffee drinker, I was skeptical, but the experience was transformative—tasting 20 different varieties of tea in such a serene, soulful atmosphere was unforgettable. Sayori also went above and beyond to personalize our day. While she organized a wonderful, authentic Onsen visit for me (completely away from the mainstream), she took my strawberry-loving wife and our driver strawberry picking. Seeing two "strawberry-happy" women radiating joy when I finished my bath was a sight to behold! Though Mount Fuji was shy behind the clouds that day, the genuine warmth of the people and the beauty of the seaside at Miho no Matsubara more than made up for it.
