“Amazing experience and real friend! ”

Aton was such a great guide and friend to us! He picked us up promptly at 7:30 from our hotel and drove us to the Pyramids, telling us facts about Cairo, the Nile and Egypt along the way. The tour around the pyramids was perfect and really insightful. Nothing was too much effort, and it was really our days. Anything we wanted was possible. We asked to stop for coffee prior to tour and he sat with us relaxing in the sun. Before our trip I asked that we wanted to organise a camel ride so after the pyramids he took us to the camels which were so fun! We changed our plans a few times during the day, including asking for a tour of the Great Egypt Museum which he accommodated no problem. He then dropped us back to a Koshary food spot in Cairo. Thanks for an amazing time, Aton. Hope to see you again!

“Big Day Out in Hiroshima ”

From the moment we met Miyu at the cruise terminal we knew we were in for a special day. She gave us plenty of options for transportation and lunch choices. First stop was Miyajima Island. She timed this stop because the tide was high which gave us the best view of the Tori Gate. Her knowledge of the shrine and temple enhanced our visit tenfold. After lunch we made our way to the Peace Park. Her knowledge of the atomic bomb site and her work with survivors of the blast helped us to empathise with what happened that day on 6th August 1945. Miyu even presented us with paper cranes that she and her grandson had made. The museum was closed so we took the option to visit a beautiful Japanese garden which was excellent. Miyu stayed with us until we were safely in a taxi heading back to our Cruise Ship Well done and many thanks Miyu.
