“Wonderful tour w Yoji as Guide n driver”
We spent 4 wonderful days with Yoji going from Kanazawa to Shirakawago, then Takayama, Obuse (a chestnut town), then Jigokudani to see the snow monkeys and finally, Karuizawa. Yoji was attentive to our needs, quick to respond to our requests, provided instructions for us to walk ahead if he had to park the car n then quickly catch up w us. We maintained communications via WhatsApp so he can find us easily. We all felt a genuine caring attitude from Yoji n completely trust him. Yoji drove thru many windy roads n he handled all the curves expertly. None of us were car sick at all! Yoji research ahead of time the stops n lunch restaurants for the next day n advise us with the latest conditions n recommendations. We had many excellent meals based on Yoji’s recommendations! The tour went smoothly n we really enjoyed our time w Yoji. I highly recommend contacting Yoji if you are going to Kanazawa n Shirakawa / Takayama areas.

In Kanazawa, we went to the castle, the gardens, the geisha district, the samurai house and tasted gold leaf ice cream and some excellent coffee! Yoji gave us recommendations for dinner and I probably had the best meal this trip at Bakusa Kanazawa! We highly recommend Yoji as your guide if you plan to go to Kanazawa, Shirakawa n Takayama regions!
