“A Perfect Day Exploring Kyoto’s Hidden Gems — Fumi is Incredible!”

We booked the private eight-hour Kyoto western treasures tour through Go With Guide and it was hands down one of the most memorable days of our entire trip. Our tour guide Fumi was absolutely exceptional — friendly, warm, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of Kyoto. She made our group of six feel completely taken care of from start to finish. We paid for an extra hour and included the round-trip Sagano Romantic train ride. The itinerary itself was perfectly curated. We began at the enchanting Ōtagi Nenbutsu-ji, where the hundreds of whimsical stone statues were unlike anything we had ever seen. From there, we walked the historic Atago Kaidō to Jōjakkō-ji Temple, strolled through the magical Bamboo Grove, and visited the stunning Tenryū-ji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a wonderful lunch break, we explored the world-renowned rock garden at Ryōan-ji before finishing the day at the breathtaking Kinkaku-ji — the Golden Pavilion truly lived up to every expectation. What set this tour apart was Fumi. Her knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm made every stop more meaningful and memorable. If you are planning a trip to Kyoto, this tour is an absolute must — and if Fumi is your guide, you are in for an extraordinary day. Highly recommend!

It was a special tour, starting with Saga Romantique train and ending at Kinkaku-ji Temple, so I imagine you were a little tired. “With a friend”

Having Paloma as a tour guide in Madrid felt less like taking a formal tour and more like having a local friend show me around her beautiful city. She is extremely knowledgeable, but what made the tour stand out as one of the best I have ever had anywhere was her company, conversation, and genuine care. Paloma was thoughtful, considerate, and very willing to shape the experience around my particular interests and pace. If I wanted to linger longer at a location, she never made me feel rushed or as though we needed to hurry on to the next stop. In my experience, that is rare among tour guides. I understand the desire to show visitors everything, but I would much rather discover the places that truly interest me and spend time with them than simply tick boxes on a schedule. By the end of the tour, I felt as though I had been catching up with an old friend while exploring a new city. I never felt rushed toward or through the most Instagram-worthy sites, though I suspect that if that is what someone wanted, Paloma would be just as happy to tailor the tour that way. For me, the experience was personal, warm, flexible, and genuinely memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend her, most especially for people travelling alone.

“Great experience and great guide”

This tour was an incredible experience and one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Armenia. The site is fascinating, combining scientific history, impressive engineering, and beautiful scenery.
