She planned a fantastic tour for my husband and I and even included a meal at a sushi restaurant that looked after my husband as a coeliac. She then found us coffee and gluten free cake at a lovely little cafe. It was an amazing day of site seeing and enjoying Japanese culture and tradition. We feel so lucky to have had Ayumi as our guide on our first visit to Osaka. From the beginning, she was professional, friendly, and very easy to communicate with. She responded promptly to our messages and customised the itinerary according to our interests and preferences. Ayumi was also incredibly gentle and patient with our children. She happily answered all their curious questions and made them feel included throughout the day. We visited Osaka Castle, explored local streets and neighbourhoods, and experienced a more authentic side of Osaka. Ayumi took us to a sushi restaurant popular with locals, where the sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious. She also introduced us to delicious takoyaki and sweet, juicy Shine Muscat grapes, which our whole family loved! My children love manga and Pokémon cards, and Ayumi knew exactly where to take them. Whenever we mentioned something we wanted to see or do, she always tried her very best to make it happen. She also showed us how to navigate the busy Namba and Nihonbashi areas and even helped us book a wonderful yakiniku BBQ restaurant for dinner. Thank you so much, Ayumi, for your kindness, warm smile, patience, and wonderful hospitality. You made our day in Osaka truly special and unforgettable. We highly recommend Ayumi, especially to families and first-time visitors looking for a customised and personal Osaka experience!

Just completed multiple-day tours with Kwan and I cannot say enough — he is without question the best tour guide I have ever had, anywhere in the world. Book with complete confidence. Yes, his tours are exceptional — the DMZ, the War Memorial, the markets — all extraordinary. But what truly sets Kwan apart has nothing to do with the itinerary. It is his heart. He doesn't see you as a customer. He sees you as a guest in his country, and he treats you like family from the moment you meet him. The stories say it all. He remembered that my colleague's wife had mentioned she loved a particular local food — and on his own time, with no prompting, he went out of his way to buy it and personally drop it off at her hotel. Not during a tour, another day of their visit, just because he wanted to make sure she got to enjoy it. He learned early on that I have a deep passion for food and markets. So he offered — completely unprompted — to pick me up at 5:45 in the morning to take me behind the scenes at the markets before they opened to the public. To meet the families. To see how it all works before the tourists arrive. It was one of the most memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences of my entire life. Something I never would have had without him. That is Kwan. He goes so far beyond the tour that the tour almost becomes secondary to the experience of spending time with him.
