“A day in Phnom Penh ”

Martin speaks great English. He lined up the vehicle and driver. He wears the licensed guide uniform. He knows his way around. And is passionate about his nation’s people and history. He’s also a straight shooter and won’t lead you astray. Just say what you want and how you’d prefer to go about it and he’ll make it happen. Be careful with the heat. You think you can do more in a day. But it takes it out of you. Also, big feelings in some of the historical sights. This also takes it’s toll as you ponder humanity and the Cambodian people’s resilience.

Lastly we visited Makino Botanical Garden with conservatory where we saw beautiful plants (orchids, omnibus, giant bamboos), and five-storied pagoda at Chikurinji Temple. I hope you enjoy Japan trip.
