At first, I had attended a volunteer group which provided a tour of the Imperial Palace East Gardens until 2015. “Fantastic Day with Takako”

We asked for a tour off the beaten track and Takako delivered . We saw a Buddhist temple with a ceremony which was very moving and an honor to witness . Lunch was a small non English speaking restaurant , we got to sample some sushumi and a tray full of food we never could have ordered for a really good price and a great experience. We saw beautiful deserted gardens , museums and shrines . Takako was a great guide and we would thoroughly recommend her
