“Unique and Interesting Literature Tour in Mitaka”

Excellent tour about Dazai Osamu, one of Japan’s most celebrated authors, and his life in Mitaka. Ryoko-san was professional, prepared, and a pleasure to talk to. As most explanations about Dazai were in Japanese, Ryoko-san was very helpful and patient in translating them and explaining their significance. Highlights include a recreation of Dazai’s writing room, a coffee shop/library dedicated to his works, as well as his final resting place. Highly recommended tour for fans of Japanese literature and for those who want to see a different and quieter side of Japan.

Wir haben unter anderem den Kaiserpalast mit Park, Tokio Station, den Meiji Schein, Tokio Skytree und den Fischmarkt erkundet. Auch ein typisch japanisches Mittagessen haben wir genossen.
