One of the beautiful gardens we toured with her - the best we saw in all Japan in the 8 cities we visited on our trip - was owned by Haru's ancestors back in the 1600s. As a result, her pride, knowledge, and insights in the city are exemplary. Yet since she spent several years in America, her English communications skills are exceptional - she speaks clearly, interacts intentionally, and clearly enjoys being able to showcase her hometown, which we enjoyed even more than Kyoto (though that was fantastic as well). She's also prompt, flexible, and cheerful. I can't recommend her highly enough. Great tour!

“Ken Amazing Tour guide”

Our experience in Japan was without doubt enhanced so much by Ken and all his help, kindness and guidance that made the very best of our time with him and his lovely wife (Satchi). What a wonderful ambassador he is for his country and his knowledge of his country and its history is amazing. He is super professional as well as funny and being around him and his wife was just a joy for us. He picked us up direct from cruise port terminal and helped us with our luggage and then dropped us off at our hotel. All with a friendly smile.
