“A fun day in Tokyo”

Fumie is an excellent guide. We were in town for my wife's semi-business weekend. Since I haven't been in Tokyo before, there was much that I wanted to see on the one free day that we had. I was fortunate to have been able to book a tour with Fumie. She is very accommodating and with some pre-tour communication prior to arrival she was able to get a good idea about what I was hoping to see. We started with a visit to Meiji Shrine and learned quite a bit about its history plus the small details that can easily be missed if we had gone alone. Afterwards, we decided to just play it by ear and, in the end, managed to actually check off everything on my to-see list (Shibuya - Harajuku - Shinjuku). This, in spite of the time spent being sidetracked with my wife's shopping (lol). Seeing Tokyo with Fumie was more like being shown around by a local friend. She is very knowledgable, fun and a joy to spend time with.

“Great Day in Tokyo”

We had an excellent day in Tokyo with Ritsuko. Her pacing was very good, moving efficiently but allowing us time to do some souvenir shopping in the Tsukiji market and other places along the way. She helped customize a tour to our specifications, including Kappabashi Street (Kitchenware) and Akihabara (Electronics). Her knowledge of Tokyo, the temples and shrines was excellent, as was her English. We also stopped at a great place for lunch. She had recommended getting the Suica App before meeting her and that was so helpful. Choose the Welcome Suica App which is in English and allows you onto the metro and busses with a tap of your phone. It also worked in Kyoto and can also be used in convenience stores.
