“Great Tour Along the Coast of Miyazaki”

First, I wanted to say the taxi driver was great. Very friendly despite not speaking English and my Japanese being very limited. Not only did he take me to all the spots I wanted to go, he also took me to some quick detours for great sightseeing and photo opportunities, and even recommended me a local onigiri shop which was delicious. But Woo of TR Taxi was amazing at putting this all together. I reached out before the taxi company was taking bookings, but Woo answered all my preliminary questions and would always follow up when it was time to book or when there were any updates before the day of the tour. I never needed to wait more than a day to hear a response back either, unless it was known the next update would be a while in the future. While these tours aren’t as personable due to the language barrier, I think TR Taxi is still a great option to see places that are hard to get to by yourself, and it was very easy to work with them!

“Like spending the morning with a friend”

We spent a rainy morning in Kanazawa with Haru, and despite the less-than-ideal weather and my partner not feeling well, we still had a wonderful experience. Haru was very knowledgeable, but what really stood out was how personable and easy she was to spend time with. We truly enjoyed simply talking with her, learning about her family, her background, and asking all kinds of random questions along the way. It felt less like a formal tour and more like spending the morning with a friend who genuinely wanted us to have a great experience, even while adapting the pace to our needs. I highly recommend booking a tour with Haru. She was thoughtful, flexible, and engaging, and she also offers great travel recommendations for other parts of Japan as well.

“Personalized and Amazing Tours”

Veronica is a wonderful tour guide. I booked 3 days with her: Nov. 24th, 25th, and 26th. When I reached out a week prior, I informed her about the duration of my stay in Chengdu and why I was visiting. Veronica asked me questions about my interests and then provided me an entire weeks-long itinerary. This itinerary was thoughtfully crafted with my interests in mind and it included the days she would guide me as well as things I can do on my own when I wasn't with her. This was one of many things that she did which shows she has integrity and is a good person. When I would meet with her she would pick me up at my place of stay and we would always enjoy amazing and new food each day. She remembered my food restrictions and preferences. In between giving me details and explanations at historical sites, I could easily talk to her about anything. She was approachable and kind. It was like we were close friends almost immediately. Veronica ensured that I made the most out of my stay and tour with her as a solo traveler. Since I'm so shy about asking others to take a photo of me, I have long gotten used to not taking photos. Veronica would be the first to suggest that I have my photo taken, even finding cute poses for me to recreate. She would take amazing care with the photos, getting various angles and even timed them with the background events. I absolutely love the photos she took. I can't thank Veronica enough for making my stay in Chengdu amazing. Thank you so much!
