“Above-and-Beyond Service from an Exceptional Guide”

Yuriko (also known as Lily) was outstanding. She was well organized, friendly, and proactive in her communication. Before the tour, she shared helpful information, including a same-day reminder to bring extra socks because of the snow. She even provided hand warmers and wipes, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. Yuriko guided us through Shirakawago and Takayama, sharing interesting historical background along the way. She also handled train and bus reservations, which made the experience stress-free since we were unfamiliar with the area and do not speak Japanese. We highly recommend Yuriko and would gladly book her again if we return. You won’t be disappointed.

In Takayama, even though very crowded, you looked enjoying local food, such as Hida-beef sushi and taiyaki(but very small, only one-bite…) You were always very kind to me and I also had a wonderful day with you and your nice family. Amr is a great and fun guide. He explained a lot about the places and people’s daily lives and more. He also took loads of photographs with good angle. Hi Heidi san, Thank you very much for writing such a good review of the tour. We didn't have enough time and visited only 3 places in 5 hours. But we saw snow left in Iwakubi rice terraces, enjoyed tub boat ride and strolled in Shukunegi village.
