“A full and fun day”

Lynn was an absolute delight to be with. She arrived at our hotel promptly and messaged that she was outside. We spent a few hours at Mount Fuji then an enjoyable boat ride followed by an outlet mall to check out the Pokemon store and various other stores. Lynn treated us to the delicious Japanese ice cream and the never tried before but infamous egg sandwich. There was an offer of a theme park but the weather was against us. Overall, we are exhausted but happy and with good memories plus lots of photos.

“A perfect guided tour of Luxor – knowledgeable, clear and very enjoyable”

Our guide, Ayman Ahmed, was simply outstanding on both days – extremely knowledgeable, yet always very friendly and pleasant. On the first day, he gave us a perfect introduction to the Karnak and Luxor temples. He didn’t just show us the vast complexes, but explained their development across different pharaohs and their religious significance – particularly the cult of Amun and the Opet Festival – in a way that was both clear and fascinating. You never felt like you were simply being ‘herded through’, but rather that you were truly understanding the context. On the second day in the Valley of the Kings, he specifically showed us particularly impressive tombs, including those of Ramses VI, whilst vividly explaining the significance of the wall paintings and the conceptions of the afterlife. In Hatshepsut’s mortuary temple, he also provided an excellent overview of Hatshepsut’s special role and the background to her reign. All in all, a perfect blend of knowledge, structure and pleasant company – highly recommended!

“Experiencing Tokyo with a local in the know”

We had a wonderful time on our Tokyo tour Kahoko, which was an unforgettable experience. The tour gave us a fantastic opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture, from visiting historic sites to experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of Tokyo’s neighbourhoods. We truly made the most of our time in the city, with an itinerary that was both efficient and packed with amazing experiences. One of the most helpful parts of the tour was the guidance on navigating Tokyo’s complex train network. We never would have been able to figure it out on our own, but with the expert assistance, I felt confident traveling around the city. Another highlight was seeing Tokyo Station from above the street level, offering a unique and stunning perspective of one of the city's most iconic landmarks. Kahoko provided handy tips and advice for the rest of our trip, including guidance on how to buy Shinkansen tickets, which saved us so much time and stress. Overall, I highly recommend this Kahoko for anyone visiting Tokyo.
