“Best experience we could have asked for ”

Joanna was the best tour guide we could have asked for on our trip to the Douro valley. She was thoughtful, prepared and knowledgeable. We loved getting to know her life story in and outside of Portugal and her view of the Portuguese culture. She called and confirmed reservations and let restaurants knew if we were running late. At the end she felt like a friend not a guide and we look forward to our paths crossing again!

Being able to be your tour guide in Douro Valley was amasing! The day started with our drive towards Douro, and with such nice conversations about our lives and also about the differences & similarities of our countries, the long drive time passed by very quickly. It's so nice when you are able to share your knowledge and learn from others at the same time. Then, we explore the region in a relaxed way, yet making the most of your day, between typical villages, wine tastings, view points and some laughs along the way. Was indeed a very special day in an unique location and totally felt like showing my country to some friends! Also, hope our paths cross again and wishing great trips around the world. “Fumi’s fabulous tour guide”

Fumi was such a fantastic and appreciative guide. At the beginning we had a quick history about all the sites and Japan we would visit which made the overall experience even more immersive. She took our wants into consideration and tailored the day accordingly. Fumi was so very friendly and kind, there was never a dull moment.
