I was born and grew up in Yokohama. I used to work in Tokyo for more than 20 years. I became the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in English in 2013. At first, I had attended a volunteer group which provided a tour of the Imperial Palace East Gardens until 2015. I guided more than fifty times in the garden as a volunteer and studied about Japanese history and culture. Based on this experience, I became a tour guide of this online site in 2015. Since then, I have guided more than 500 tours in Tokyo as well as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, Nikko, etc., while improving my tours. “Great guide”
We spent a lovely day with Leandra. She is very friendly and polite and being American/Japanese she spoke perfect English. We didn’t want to see Shrines or Temples because we will be seeing them when we go on our cruise so Lea took us to a lovely park and then to various areas outside of the touristy places. We went to a great market and then had a nice Ramen for lunch in a place that the local people eat. Lea helped us navigate the trains and we walked a fair bit but when we got tired took a taxi. We would highly recommend Leandra if you are looking for guide in Tokyo.

“I did not mind the 12 hr layover! ”
Such a great experience during my ICN layover. I had never been to Korea before so what better way to spend those layover hours! I was a lone traveler and with Alice I felt comfortable and we did so much in 8 hrs! We could have done more but I was tired from 2 weeks travel. Alice was very knowledgeable on Korean history and added a special touch to the tour! I even had the chance to blend in with the locals and experience Korean culture. We enjoyed an authentic Korean lunch - the day was such a pleasant experience!
