I was born and grew up in Yokohama. I used to work in Tokyo for more than 20 years. I became the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in English in 2013. At first, I had attended a volunteer group which provided a tour of the Imperial Palace East Gardens until 2015. I guided more than fifty times in the garden as a volunteer and studied about Japanese history and culture. Based on this experience, I became a tour guide of this online site in 2015. Since then, I have guided more than 500 tours in Tokyo as well as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, Nikko, etc., while improving my tours. My tours are very flexible and I always do my best to customize them according to the interests of my guests. I studied about the places and will provide you knowledge to appreciate them more deeply than just visiting there by yourself or a member of group tours. I like foods and I know many restaurants which provide typical Japanese lunch with reasonable price without waiting too long. Heidi help as a local guide was exceptional. Firstly she would allocate her time so that she can help accepting urgent request for day guide. Her itinerary is flexible but structured where you can asked her to customise according to your needs. She will firstly meet you at your place of stay making an easier start. If you ask her to show you a local delicacies, she will definitely bring you to the best places regardless any budget you have in mind. The best part of going day trip with her is she is able to teach all basic knowledge how to use all necessary apps in China and help you to negotiate price for any products when you are shopping especially if you are not local. “A Wonderful Tour with Dan!”

We had an incredible experience on our tour with Dan! From the very beginning, he greeted us with a warm smile, and we immediately knew it was going to be a fantastic day. Dan was extremely engaging and interactive, answering all our questions and providing insightful explanations about Japanese culture. My son especially enjoyed learning phrases in Japanese and collecting little treats throughout the day. Dan was fantastic with kids, creating a fun and educational atmosphere for everyone. His professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge of Tokyo made the day even more special. I highly recommend this tour, especially for families—it's the perfect introduction to Tokyo and Japan that caters to both adults and children!

“Kind and caring, easy to work with and knowledgeable.”

We had a lovely tour of Tokyo today with Carol who was totally charming, supportive and friendly. Our transfer times were a little unclear so we were not able to give Carol very precise meeting times and we have never been to Japan before let alone Tokyo so we had no idea of an itinerary …. So we were not easy to work with ….. but … Carol was totally calm, flexible and easy to work with. She arranged a lovely afternoon for us at a pace we could manage. I could see that she was full of energy and ideas and keen so show he lovely city but we were grateful to her for matching her offer to our capacity and needs. I was really grateful to her for making sure we could manage the metro and she kindly made sure we were safely on the right journey back to our hotel at the end of the tour. What a lovely lady.
